I probably should have mentioned it being Superfluous “R” month again. I'm not sure if I did it last year, or the one before, but I'm sure as hell doing it this year. So deal wit it suckahs! Ok, since Spiderman put in links to the pictures yesterday I think I'll comment on them again. That metallic green car was virtually identical to the one I had in high school, right down to the wheels. It made me really want to look for another one. But it was the Pinto picture that really got me worked up. That car was so super clean that I'd give my left nut for it. The best part, it was a two door sedan rather than a three door hatchback. I don’t want a Pinto hatch. Sure, they are probably lighter than the sedans, but I still don’t like the hatch as much. Of course a wagon or panel van Pinto would be super awesome as well. Crap, now I want a metallic green, mid-seventies Capri, a two door Pinto, and a Pinto wagon or panel van… in addition to all my Datsuns. Psh, while I'm adding to the wish list, I guess I'll need to seek out another Cosworth Vega… then a Vega Wagon to put a Cosworth engine in. I always wanted to make a Cosworth Vega Wagon since the factory never did. Yeah, like I'm going to be able to make that dream happen! Ok, to be honest, the car from my past that I most regret selling would have to be Mr. Wiggly, the ’76 Dodge van. I should really have my ass kicked for letting that one go. Sure, without making that trade I wouldn’t have Lil' Wiggly back… but I'd have a bitchin’ van. I'm a fucking retard sometimes. Anyhoo, replacing the Capri would be cool and all, but I'm not going to make it a priority. Like I said yesterday, if one avails itself to me, I'll consider it. Since I never owned a Pinto, that little dream can easily go unfulfilled. Of course, if I found a poo-brown two-door, like my brother used to own, I could probably be talked into it… for the right price. Feh, like that’ll happen. So, what now? Well, Pat texted me the other day asking if I wanted to have dinner with him tonight. We decided on bait at Wild Sushi. He said to invite John so I did. I haven’t heard back whether he’s planning to join us though. We’re meeting at 1830 h so I need to think of a way to kill an hour and a half after I get off work. I imagine I'll head down to Bloodbath & Beyond and hang out for a while. Maybe I can talk Larry into going there. We’ll see. I think the dude is planning to come get Nadine this weekend. I sure hope so because I'm broke-ass again. I'm pretty sure John is planning for us to unload his B-310 off the trailer Saturday so I'll need to drive Fifi to the shop. Oh, and even if the dude doesn’t come for Nadine this weekend, we really need to get that cross member cut out of there. I think I'll plan on doing that Saturday. Yeah, I know I said that a few weeks ago. Shut up. The day I planned to do it, I was at the shop alone and didn’t feel like it when push came to shove. So there. Ok, I think I'm just about done talking to y'all today. Yeah, that’s all.
