I really don’t have much to say today except that I was not quite as correct as I have been in the past when I said that the Mini Mania deluxe Honda installation kit contained a rear suspension.  It does not.  It does have all the bits I'd need to do the installation unlike the starter kit I originally though did… or something to that effect.  Anyhoo, there’s that going on.  Let’s see, what else is there to say?  Well, I still haven’t heard back from the Florida connection with regards to when George is to be picked up.  It might queer the deal but I'm going to have to tell them, “It isn’t ready.” if they show up and say, “We’re here!” and want to pick it up.  I'm going to need several days’ notice so I can finger out how I'm going to get the engine and transmission out without John’s help… unless they wait until after the 4^th of May.   John and I will have the thing ready then.  This weekend is the Pate Swap Meet at the speedway.  John is going camping so I'm planning to pick Larry up at the butt-crack of dawn and we’ll go shopping.  I'm going to be looking for, in decreasing order of importance, a vintage truck/car cab/body for Oliver Closehoff, a Mini, a Lotus Eleven, Esprit, or Europa, a Mercedes SL, or anything else which might strike my fancy.  I'll see how close to $1,000.00 I can scrape up and hope that Larry shows up flush with cash if I need more.  I'm not going to ask him to bring money to loan me, but I'm not above using what he has on him if I find what I need for a little more than what I have… sort of thing.  I don’t mean I'd mooch another grand, but a couple hundred perhaps.  We’ll see.  Well, I just got off the phone with mom and my sister.  They are on their way to spend the night in Not Texas before heading to Florida for a wedding, or something.  So, Dolly and I are on our own for the next week and a half so use caution when coming by my place.  I might not be wearing pants and I’ll probably have a gun on/near me.  Well, I've been staring at the screen for a few minutes now trying to think of more to say.  I guess since I have to pee and I'm fresh out of content, I'll call it a rant.  Toodles.
