Last night when I got home, the phone was out at the house so I couldn’t send the rant to Spiderman. So, before you continue with today’s rant, scroll down and read yesterday’s. I'll wait. Ah, you’re back. Yeah, I know, it wasn’t all that necessary because there is very little continuity but… well, there you have it. So I'm sitting here at work, goofing off at my desk, when a facilities guy shows up to use one of the spare cubes in my area to do some training on his computer. That caused me to have to shut down my game of Mahjong and come talk to y'all. So, as I mentioned, the phone was out at the house last night and therefore I had no intergoogles. I messed with swapping optics around on various guns and now they all fit in the gun case without resting against said optics. See, that was an issue before. Eventually that lost its entertainment value so I went down to watch TV. Lo and behold, the mother fucking TV began to act up. The lamp kept shutting down. Finally I gave up and went to bed before something got broken. I guess I'm going to have to order a fucking lamp for the thing now. I have one tagged, or book marked, or something on e-Bay so… we’ll see. I'd rather just bin the thing and get a new TV but that would mean going yet another grand in debt. I'd rather not do that. So, John sent me a picture of a Z-car which obviously has a V8 in it. It has fender exit zorst and side pipes. I told him that was more or less what I was thinking with Lil' Wiggly. He, I think, is on board for that idea now. With the car sitting on its wheels again, we can take a look at routing pipes through the fender area and exiting out behind the wheels to mate with side pipes. I like the idea. Sure, it does fly in the face of the car being a “Sleeper,” but I'm not really sure it ever was going to be that anyway. I'd like to jump on the Summit website and have a look at side pipe options but I'm not going to do it with Randy up here. Aw, fuck it. What is he going to say? Well, after doing a little math, and consulting with John, and looking at the Summit website, we’re going to wait until we can take a look at the car to see what’s what with the zorst… again. It has been suggested that a set of “Block Hugger” headers mounted upside down with a “U” turn down into the fenders might work. We will have a look at that as well. A set of BH headers from Summit is only $144.00 so I might go ahead and order some to see if they might fit. I shouldn’t, but I might. As for the side pipes, the math shows that a set of 50” pipes, the shortest Summit offers, would be our only option… and they might be too long. Those items are $235.00 though so we’ll definitely wait until we’ve at least measured the sill length before going down that road. Well, it is now 1120 h and Randy has left so I think I'm going to call it a rant and go have lunch with Larry. Toodles.
