1/7/11

Well, I have managed to pare down the Moon Base house and shop to 1) 36’ Eco-Dome, 2) 20’ Eco-Domes, 1) 20’ Monolithic Dome, and 4) 16.5’ Monolithic Domes. Losing the superfluous SALS 20’ dome dropped the price under $300,000.00 too. See, I made a printout of yesterday’s “final” version and took it to show Larry. He pointed out that everything in the SALS dome was replicated in the house. I had no argument against his logic. The only reason, I realized, for having the SALS dome was to have a shitter in the shop. Ooh, though now that I'm thinking about it again, we really do need a hand wash sink at the very least in the shop, at which point there might as well be a shitter. OK, I'm going back in and adding a small shitter to the shop. It will eat up a little floor space, but I think I might be OK. Right now the drawing shows six Fifi outlines in the main dome and one more in each work bay dome, Fifi being the largest of all my vehicles right now. All I really need inside is space for The Seven, Nadine and the Spitfire. Everything else can continue to live outside. Sure, I'd like to have my daily driver inside, but I ain't gonna lose any sleep over it. OK, I just went in and deleted on Fifi and added a shitter. I also noticed I didn't have any kind of personnel door to get into the shop. Juan would either have to open one of the hanger doors or come through the house. I added a personnel door. I like the plan I have worked out here. I really think it could work for me. I guess I just need to decide whether or not it is worth $300.00 for the “Feasibility Study” by the Monolithic Dome Institute, which would be my next step. I don't know. We'll see. And on that note, I think I'm going to call it a week. I'll let y'all know if anything happened over the weekend. Oh yeah, I just remembered something else. I drove Lil' Wiggly to work today! I really dig that car. I'll probably drive it to the shop in the morning, if we go, and see about that high-beam issue keeping it from passing inspection. So, again I say, I'll let y'all know Monday what happened. Toodles.
