Remember all that falderal yesterday about a “hunting” 7.62x39? Well forget it. I put the wood furniture on the 7.62x39 last night and discovered I really don’t like it very much in that configuration. So I'm going to leave the gun set up as a tactical rifle and burn the “hunting” bridge if and when I get to it. So, now I have fifty rounds of ammo on the way for nothing. I guess I'll be taking that gun to Elk Castle again to see if I can shoot on their rifle range. I would like to sight in that optic I have on there. I have it “sighted” to the laser bore sighter thingy, but knowing where the actual bullet is going to hit would be nice. Besides, I really like shooting. I probably won't keep ant of that ammo on hand because if I were to go hunting I'd probably use the Wolf hollow points I already have. Well, unless a game warden says I can't. But, then again, if I'm going hunting it’ll be for food because the shit has hit the fan and I gots to bag my own lunch or starve. At that point the game warden might even be on the menu! Mmm, long pig. Oh, don’t give me that look. If you were hungry enough, you’d eat your next door neighbor. Don’t deny it. Anyhoo, so there’s that going on. As for my next frivolous gun purchase, I think I'm not going to look for another Saiga just now, because of the aforementioned dislike of the wood furniture. No, I think my next dumb purchase is going to be a Draco like I mentioned the other day. I mean come on, a 7.62x39 AK-47 pistol? How friggin’ cool is that? Well, I've got to go to a retirement party, wish it was mine, and probably won't be back until time to send my timesheet and log out. So on that note, I guess I'll say smell ya later.
