Bleh. Every month, around the fifteenth, they have birthday cake for the folks in the NCS Group. I'm usually invited to join them… and usually do. Well, since my B-day was Monday I made sure to be there. Oh, it was today by the way. Since I was the first to arrive, and since I don’t technically work for the NCS Group and therefore didn’t get my name on the white board, Jessica gave me the first piece of cake… a corner piece… a double-sized corner piece. I feel like crap on a cracker. Hence the “Bleh” as the opening word today. So, I think I'm going to cut out early today. It is now 1500 h, I think I'll probably stay one more hour and then I'm outta here! I have to go to the courthouse and renew the plates on Matilda for John as well. I tried to do it yesterday but missed it by five minutes. Now, someone wanting to bust my balls might point out that I was at my desk at 1625 h wasting time talking to y'all when I could be going to run that errand. And said ball buster would be correct in doing so because I totally forgot about the license until I went to put my laptop away for the evening. Today however I have no excuse. Ok, so remember Heeter’s van? Well, the dude who baby sits meetings for me saw a picture of it and said, “My neighbor across the street has an old van for sale. I'll shoot you a picture of it.” He sent me the picture and it is almost identical to how Heeter’s van looked before he had it primered. I forwarded the picture to John who asked, “Is the Celica for sale?” I hadn’t even noticed the fender of an old Celica in the lower corner of the shot. I asked Jeff about it and was told that they were both for sale. This morning Jeff was here to baby sit another meeting and I told him I'd trade the motorcycle for the van. See, Jeff wants my motorcycle so I fingered he could buy the van and then I'd trade him for it. I don’t think it’ll happen because the dude wants more for the van than a) my bike is worth and/or 2) what Jeff is willing to pay for it. But we’ll see. He went on to tell me that the neighbor has quite the Dimlightian collection of stuff. I told John this and said we might have to make a road trip to Denton to check out his collection. He agreed. On the minus side of the van deal is the fact that while the thing has a rebuilt engine, it was started with a dry oil pump and seized up… or something to that effect, according to Jeff. That otter cause the guy to come off of his asking price but he thinks he has something special. I don’t know, we’ll see. Well, I'm not coming up with more to say so I think I'm going to stop trying. So suck it.
