Ok, so I think the current plan is as follows. First we’ll finish Lil' Wiggly and get it on the road and out of the way. Then we’ll roll George in and finish him up. That shouldn’t take too… damn, jinxed it. Anyhoo, when George is back on the road well probably roll Rhonda in and begin stripping it down the way we did Nadine. I think unless there is some reason why the Chickenhawk engine won't “drop right it,” like the steering rack fouls the pan or something, we’ll go that route. Of course either way we go, NAPS Z or A-series, we’ll probably wind up putting that cross member we made for Nadine in there. So I guess that will be how we’ll start. I've been cipherin’ and figgerin’ on what zorst manifolds to use where and I think I'm going to go this route: I'll put the header that I built for the Chickenhawk in the Chickenhawk on the KA-24 and one of those four-to-two cast iron manifolds on the Z-20 in Rhonda. I might, just to be wacky, keep them split and run dual exhaust! No, I probably won't do that. I would like to keep the Monza, or Ansa, or whatever it is axle-back portion of Rhonda’s existing zorst though. I like those dual stingers sticking out back there. We’ll see. Ok, so I thought this was going to entertain me more than it has. I had hoped to go into all sorts of thoughts and stuff about the various projects but nothing is coming to mind. Hmm. Well, the cold air induction kit for Fiona did arrive yesterday. I took it out and had a look at all the components. It does appear that it will flow the hell out of some air. The instructions are a bit daunting because removal of the front bumper is called for. John says, and I quote, “I ain’t skeert.” So I guess we’ll be doing that this Saturday. This kit is by Injen. The AEM kit’s instructions which I found on them intergoogles made it sound like just the lower cover needs to be removed. I imagine the truth is somewhere in between. Juan can probably do the installation with only the lower cover removed, but it will go smoother with the bumper off. I'll leave the details up to John. Of course we didn’t have any trouble removing the bumper from Ms. Clio to install the Angel Eye headlights, why am I so worried about yanking this bumper? Oh right, because John didn’t want to remove this bumper to install the new grille back a few months ago. See, the thing is, if we do remove the bumper, I could be working on opening up the vent next to the fog lights which will let in even more air to the cold air filter. Relax John, I'm not going to take a hole saw to it like I did on the two Versæ. No, I'll cut out the bottoms of the individual louver thingies to open them up. You probably won't even be able to see it. Of course, if we had some mesh to put in the hole, the whole trapezedarhomboid could be cut out to flow stupid amounts of air in there! I don’t know, we’ll see. I suppose I could just order the fog light surrounds from Seoulful Racing which already have the cutouts covered in mesh. Perhaps the next time I have $189.00 burning a hole in my wallet. Then again, this would be the time to do it rather than remove the bumper twice. No, I think I can ventilate the stock parts well enough to suit my porpoise. Is anyone else picturing a dolphin in an Armani right now? No, just me? Kooky. Well, I'm tired of talking to y'all now so…
