There was a typo yesterday. Of course I meant to say “At the dude’s house it began to rain” not “…I began to rain.” I was sad to see the N-600 go, but not so sad as to begin raining. Ok, moving on. So remember how I was going to have a nuculer stress test done on my heart tomorrow morning? No, well pay better attention. Anyhoo, when I called the doctor’s office to get some last minute information about it, I found out that my insurance wasn’t ready to pay for it until there was a “Peer review” on my case. So now I have to wait for my doctor to get back from vacation, or wherever, and go have a chat with the testing folks and the insurance and stuff. I told the home office about it and they basically said, “It’s your time off, take the day or come in to work.” I'm taking the day off. So there’s that going on… or not rather, as the case may be. Now, I don’t remember if I mentioned ordering the clutch slave and wheel cylinders for Lil' Wiggly the other day. If so, bear with me. The other day I ordered the clutch slave and wheel cylinders for Lil' Wiggly. They should arrive soon, hopefully before the weekend so we can get them installed. That is, if we don’t go to the Good Guys car show at the speedway on Saturday. I don’t think we will since John and I are both laying the guilt trip on the other about getting stuff done on our cars. I think we will probably go to the shop. I need to find out if George, the grumpy old fart rather than my 1200 with the same name, has any Toyota AE-86 4.30 limited slip differentials any more. I just looked and I don’t have his number in my phone any more. I'll bet Kevin Ulrich or Marty Smith can get in touch with him. Hell, John might have his number, think to come of it. Anyhoo, I'm thinking that if we use the narrowed AE-86 axle I have in the ‘Spit, especially with the Goldwing engine, we’ll want the super honkin’ low gear set. Of course, with a Datsun engine we can get along with a taller gear, but the 4.30 will make the thing accelerate better no matter what motor is in there. What is really chapping my ass right now is, I HAD a 4.30 LS in that axle but sold it to… hmm, was it Ray or Gregg? I think it was Ray. Point is, I ain’t got it no more and I need one. Well ok, I don’t NEED one per se, not yet at least, but… shut up. Ok, I'm supposed to be babysitting some installation guys. I guess I'll go do that and talk to y'all again on Friday.
