Ok, I've been trying to outlast John on the rant. I sent one to him on Monday (resent it today with this one as well), and a mini rantlet in an e-mail on Tuesday, but never saw either come up on Blogspot. I was trying to wait him out to see if he’d ask about it. He has not. So I'm caving in first. All week I've been ruminating about making The Seven into a “Prisoner” replica. We’re right now in the seven day ordering period for seven-character license plates and KAR 120C is currently still available. The thing that has talked me out of doing the replica is the fact that the plates would be $400.00 for one year or $800.00 for ten years. I am not going to do THAT again. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice… I KILL YOU‼‼‼‼ Without the plates, it would just be another BRG and Yellow Seven running around. I don’t want to be THAT guy. So, there’s that going on… or not, as the case may be. On another note, John sent me a text yesterday asking if the N-600 were for sale. I said, “Fo da rite muny!” Turns out, he knows a dude with a B-310 willing to trade for it. I thought about it and said, “Gopher it.” We’re doing the car swap thing in the morning. I wicked cool as an N-600 would be to own, I really don’t need another project on the plate. Besides, if I can cull the herd down to just Datsuns… I don’t know. We’ll see. Well, Juan would think that since I haven’t had anything to say all week I'd have more today. It just ain’t so. So I guess I'm going to call it a rant and go home… or something.
