Ok, I have calmed myself down from the other day’s rant.  I still can’t use the Intergoogles on the work machine because of… whatever the hell they did, but I have my laptop and the “Super-Secret, GI Joe Access Code” to access the wireless, so I’m good.  Anyhoo, Saturday we went to the shop and… um, what the hell did we do?  I know we looked at Lil' Wiggly’s wiring for a bit and successfully tested the park and brake lights, but hazard and turns are not working.  I think I have decided that I’m just going to remove the hazard and turn signal switches and run “Antique” license plates on the thing.  I debated with myself about how I was going to make the high beams work, since the dimmer is integrated into the turn signal switch, and I think I have decided that I’m just going to bypass the dimmer switch and only run low beams.  Having made these decisions, all I need to do now is trace the oil pressure signal wire, re-tape and reinstall the harness, dump in some petrol, and we otter be able to fire this bastard up!  After that, if I remember correctly, all I will need will be a driveshaft, speedometer pinion, and tires to make the thing drivable!  Of course I can’t afford to buy a driveshaft, speedometer pinion, and tires right now, but… hell, I don’t know.  Well, I have to join a meeting so I’d better quit talking to y’all.  Have a day.
