10/15/10

Well, it looks like we have a plan for tomorrow. I'll take Fifi to the shop and pick up the trailer. From there I'll go get John at his house. We'll stop at the credit onion on the way to Gregg's so I can get the money out to buy Lil' Wiggly. At Gregg's we’ll either reinstall the brake master or just load Lil' Wiggly on the trailer. We'll also load up many of the parts for the Super Karate-Monkey Death Car build to get them out of Gregg's way. When we’re done there, we’ll check the time and see where to go from there. If it is starting to be late, we’ll do lunch and I'll drop John off at home. I can drop the trailer at the shop by myself. No biggie. Since that is the most likely scenario, I won't even go into John and I taking the trailer to the shop, dropping Lil' Wiggly in the Volvo’s old spot, and then doing lunch before bringing John home. It just doesn't seem likely. But we’ll see. I might get the urge to finish the brakes and make the car drivable, but don't hold your breath. Hmm, I suppose I could drop it at the house and finish the brakes there. In fact, that is quite likely now that I think about it. Hell, I could drive the thing off the trailer and park it using the parking brake if worst came to worst. In fact, yes. I think I will take Lil' Wiggly straight to the house. That way the Volvo’s spot will be free for the Spitfire. And now we’re talking Triumphs. I proposed the option of John buying Nadine from me so I could concentrate on projects I'm actually excited about. He agreed that it made sense. Unfortunately, he wants to paint Nadine white. For some reason, that doesn't sit well with me. It isn't that the car wouldn't look good in whatever color he chooses, it’s just... I don't know, that car ort to stay red, in my opinion. Don't ask me why because I don't have a reasonable answer. Hell, I don't even have an unreasonable answer. It just ain't right. We'll discuss this kind of thing tomorrow I'm sure. I guess if it means looking good in white versus looking like crap in red, I ort to be on board. I don't know. The other problem with selling him the car, both bays of the shop will be tied up with his cars, in non-rolling condition. He actually pointed that fact out to me, I hadn't even thought about it. And I'm tired of thinking about it now. So much so that I think I'm going to just call it a rant. Yes, it is 1500 h so I think I'm going to send my time sheet in and go home. Buh bye.
