Kevin called yesterday to tell me about a Spitfire across the street from him that is available cheap. He called again today to say that it looks like we can get it for $175.00 or so. I'm going to take a look at it after work to see if it is even worth that to me. While it would be a great place to install that rotary engine, I think I'm going to look at it as a “flipper.” If I can get it cheap, I'll try and sell it to the British car guys at that swap meet this Saturday. Of course I won't have my trailer to drag it “home” and to the meet, so I might have some trouble with this plan. Well, I could drag it “home,” but Jeff will have the trailer on Saturday while I'm at the swap meet. By the way, we’re not talking about the Jeff with the Miata for sale. This is the Toyota Jeff from the Purple Cow meets. Anyhoo, with any luck the thing will be such a shit pile I won't want to mess with it. Of course if it sold for $500.00, it would just about pay for my Magnum Judge and I'd still have the grand for Lil' Wiggly. All I'd need to do is come up with the $175.00 to buy it. We'll see. I don't really have anything else to say and I don't feel like fighting through it. I guess it’ll just be a really short rant today.
