Well, I'm not changing as many things on the dome drawing each time I look at it. I think I might have a “final” rendering now. Here’s what I'm thinking, I'll print out a copy of the “final” drawing, write up a proposal, and if John and I decide to road-trip it to Italy some Saturday in the near future, I'll take those items and the $300.00 fee for hand delivery. Maybe one of the architects or engineers or what the hell ever they are will be available/bored and will look it over. I'm sure the price will be exorbitant and I'll wind up in a steel building, but my Moon Base sure is cool. I did a plan view of what Juan would see from the highway yesterday. I think it looks cool. Speaking of looking cool, Gregg asked if I still had the Beretta carbine and pistol combo. I asked why he wanted to know. His dad is interested in them. Of course that but the burr under my saddle to think about selling them to him. See, the Space Gun is cool, and I like shooting it, but but the pistol is just kind of “meh.” I don't dislike Pixie, I'm just not in love with it. I suppose Juan could argue the merit of selling just the pistol, and I believe someone who shall remain John is interested in it, but I think I could get more for the package. I don't know. I offered to trade the balance of what I owe Gregg on the Lil' Wiggly deal for the two guns, and he was going to talk to his dad. I haven’t heard anything more on that though. I'm sure I'm getting an “Oooh! Dang youse!” from John right about now. But what are you going to do? If I do sell them, I'm going to investigate the claim that a Kel Tec P11 can use Smith & Wesson model 51 magazines because there is a Kel Tec Sub 2000 folding carbine which also uses those mags. If I can get an S2K which uses the same mags as Katie, I'll be shittin’ in high cotton. Of course I could always get one which uses the Beretta 92 mags and go that route. But I like the Taurus PT92 better than the Beretta. Yes, they are virtually identical, but for one detail. The safety/decocker is on the frame of the Taurus and on the slide of the Beretta. I find it easier to manipulate on the frame. No, what I ort to do is get the S2K for Glock mags, buy a couple 30 rounders for it, and forget this interchangeability bull shit. Before you even ask, “No, I won't buy a Glock to go along with the carbine.” I do not like Glocks. OK, OK, what I really ort to do is stop buying guns I don't need and concentrate on the car hobby again. Yeah, well... your face is a car hobby. Speaking of cars, I think we may have a plan for Lil' Wiggly. First off we’re going to replace the battery cables as they are shot. Next I want to disconnect everything related to the headlight circuit and see what happens when the key is turned. If the car seems to be fine that way, I want to start from scratch (more or less) and rebuild the headlight circuit. I'll rewire from the switch, through relays, to the high and low beams, rewire the indicator on the dash, maybe replace the dimmer switch, and basically just bypass the forty year old Japanese wiring in there. Hopefully that will solve the problem. If not, well I guess we’ll be replacing the whole wiring harness with a Hot Rod Wires unit and really starting over. I'd hate to hack that dash all up but... wait, who am I kidding? No I wouldn't. The only thing I'd want to salvage is that new dash top pad thingy I installed. OK, John installed but I paid for it. I don't know. We'll just have to wait and see what we find when we tear into it. I imagine we’ll be going to Bridgeport Saturday to get that B-210 we looked at last week. Of course there’s always the possibility John will want to go to Italy to look at domes. We'll see
