Side note: Reread the end of yesterday's rant as it's been updated. On to today's business...
The router or modem or switcher or hub or… what the fuck ever that thing which is supposed to make all of the computers in the house talk to each other and the intergoogles quit working on me one time too many Monday night. I cut the LAN cable in two where it crossed the bathroom, ripped it out of the wall and my room, and then packed up the monitor and laptop. Last night I removed the last of the cable from the bathroom to the worthless piece of shit thing in mom’s room so I don’t have intergoogles at home anymore. Also, with the monitor packed away, there is no reason to take the laptop home. So I'll be sending the rants from work when and if I feel like messing with it. Apparently today I felt like messing with it. Hopefully Spiderman will post up the links to pictures of the guns I forgot to send to him on Monday. If I remember correctly, they were a picture of an H&K PS-90, a Ruger 10/22, a 10/22 in the 90/22 stock, a Mosin Nagant, and a Mosin Nagant in the Bullpup stock. There might have been something else as well, I just don’t remember. Like I said, I meant to send them with the rant when I talked about wanting to buy those various and sun dried guns… sort of thing. Of course now I'm beginning to worry that the gun grabbers are eventually going to wear down the opposition and finally win their agenda of total elimination of all legal guns. I know it is a tired old saw, but it is true that when you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have them. The only thing banning guns is going to do is remove them from the honest, law abiding citizens. The crims aren’t going to give theirs up. Oh sure, eventually all, or at least a vast majority of the millions of guns could be rounded up, but you can't put the genie back in the bottle. As long as someone knows how to make gunpowder, someone will be able to make a gun. For fuck’s sake, there are plans on the internet to make a single shot 9mm pistol using a 3D printer! And if you can get your hands on a pipe with something like the right inside diameter, or the right diameter drill bit for that matter, you can make a zip gun in whatever caliber you want. A hunk of ¾” ID pipe would make a decent 12 gauge zip gun in an emergency. Tell me they can collect and account for every last round of ammo out there… go ahead, I dare you. Well, you are full of shit telling me that. But I'm probably preaching to the choir. My point is, to get back to it, the gun grabbers are just going to keep chipping away at our freedom until they can send in the storm troops to take away all of our legally owned guns. So, I'm thinking of getting a table at an upcoming gun show to see if I can sell off my collection. Sure, I'll only get pennies on the dollar for them, but it is better than having them taken away and not getting anything. Of course since I've already committed to buy that kid’s 10/22 this weekend, I'll probably go through with it… and build the 90/22 so I can say, “Yep, I used to have one of those.” Well, I've pretty much said my say for today, and it is rapidly approaching 1600 h, so I think I'm going to call it a rant. They might be few and far between for a bit… sorry. Wait, no I'm not. To quote Rom Burgundy, “Go fuck yourselves, San Diego!”
