So yesterday I sent Spiderman an e-mail with nothing in the subject line, nothing in the body, and no attachments. It was supposed to say to him, in all its emptiness, “I got nothin’.” I knew it was a long shot and wasn't surprised when I got the reply asking, essentially, “WTF?”. Meh, whatta ya gunna do? I'm excited about how Lil' Wiggly is progressing. I can hardly wait to go to the shop Saturday and get back on it. Hopefully, this level of excitement will flow onto Nadine once she’s back inside. We'll see. Of course we have to get Barbecue Bob in and out for Heeter first, but that shouldn't take too long. Damn it! I just jinxed it didn't I? Crap crap crapity crap crap! Oh well, water under the bridge now. OK, so I've had a look at my vehicle inventory and I think after Nadine is on the road, I really ort to get back on George and finish that project. I just hope I haven’t ruined anything by letting it sit so long. OK, not going to think about that right now. No point worrying about it, what’s done is done. After George I probably should see about dropping something in the Chickenhawk and getting that lost cause back up. The big questions is: what engine am I going to put in there? I'd still like to do a VG-30 powered 1200, and the Chickenhawk would be a good candidate... I suppose. Hmm, the mid engine project could be revived. John, thoughts? I suppose I could make it front engine and set it up as a drag car. I doubt it would turn very well with that setup. It could be fun to have a total sleeper 1200. I don't know. I guess I'll burn that bridge when I come to it. Well, I have to go talk to the lovely Maggie Shoop in the TOB right quick. Mmm, Maggie Shoop. I may be back, and I may not. We'll see. And I'm back. I've been thinking about Birkinstock this year and am torn as to whether or not I'm going to tour the countryside with the group on Sunday or go to the gun show. Right before re-reading the schedule I was leaning towards the gun show but now that I know Monday’s tour only goes until noon back in Cresson, I'm not so sure. I'll probably do the Sunday tour. I don't need to go to the gun show anyway. I can wait one more month to buy whatever stupid thing I'm going to buy at the next gun show I attend. I do think I have decided that I'm going to be a ‘tater at the Saturday track event though. I'll drive the Friday track day, but that’s more informal than the driving school format of Saturday. No, I don't think I'm such a great driver that I don't need any more driving instruction. I just don't want to do it. Not to mention I don't want to spend the $250.00 for it. Tony isn't going to be able to do either Saturday or Sunday but is planning to come out for Friday and Monday. I told him if his car isn't ready he can ride with me on the tour, such that it is, on Monday. We'll see. I think I'll plan to drive The Seven to the shop this Saturday and make sure it is up to snuff. If I had half a brain I'd try and tune those carburetors a little better. I won't, but I should. I don't know, we’ll see. Well, since I got here at 0630 h this morning, I'm going to take a quick nap before lunch. I'll chat with y'all again tomorrow... IF YOU’RE LUCKY!!!!!!
