I was thinking about driving The Seven to work tomorrow but I hear the forecast is for rain. I guess I'll see what the weather is like in the morning and decide against it then. Hell, for all I know it could be raining its ass off right now. I hope not as I left the windows cracked and the sunroof up on Ms. Clio this morning. Well, we’ll see won't we? So I get a text from John saying that Jeff has my next truck for sale. It is a Toyota Hilux in need of an engine. He is only asking $300.00 for it so I'll probably get it next payday. I just looked at the picture, yeah, I want it. I'm not sure what role it will fill, especially since I don't know what engine I'd put in it, but I want it. My knee-jerk reaction choice is a 22-R like I had in The Tick but I don't know where I'd come up with one. Well, I do kind of know, I'd say to John, “Han’lit Roy. Han’lit, han’lit!” I'm sure he could source a Celica or pickup engine and transmission on the cheap. Of course, being a full-frame vehicle, a 5.0 Ford V8 otter fit nicely. I'm not sure I really want that much engine though. I wonder if there’s room for a straight six... or slant six? No, if I went for a six, I'd probably go V6. Then again, a big-assed domestic lump would pull anything I ever wanted to hook up to it. Hmm, we’ll see. I just remembered, Kevin works for a Toyota/Lexus repair shop. He could be another source for an engine. For that matter, he has had a ‘Yoda V8 sitting on an engine stand for quite some time now. Hmm, I'd have to run a slush-box transmission with that though. No, a V8 would mean Ford for me, unless something else were to fall in my lap. Tony’s Stalker just popped up on the other computer’s screen saver. It got me thinking about that GM V6 they use. A supercharged Buick donk would be kind of awesome. Oh crap, I think I like that idea. I need to be talked down from that ledge. OK, first things first. I gotta get the thing and asses what’s what with it. Not to mention, IT MUST NOT CUT IN LINE AHEAD OF NADINE! Ooh, a supercharged Buick in Nadine! No! Stop it!
